Course Description:
Integrated Studies in Science and Mathematics - the capstone course in the SMEE interdisciplinary major. A number of currently important science and mathematics-related topics will be studied in depth, and will emphasize the integration of the natural sciences, mathematics, and computer science. Consideration will be given to the relevance of the topics to modern society and their potential use in the elementary classroom. Prerequisites: BIOL101, CHEM100, GEOL 111, MATH100, MATH121, PHYS101, CISC120. (In certain cases, the SMEE Program Director may allow a substitution.)
